Glamping pods are simple wooden or caravan huts. You can have beds, tables, chairs and bathrooms. They range in size. The capacity is usually 2-4 people. Wooden houses will protect you from any weathers such as strong wind, snow and rain. In addition, their solid doors will protect you from unexpected and unwelcome animals and intruders. Also they aren’t well-insulated. However, It might be cold in winter. Then, you need to look after them very well, which means the pods need lots of maintenance and repairs such as regular painting of interior and exterior of wood and roof repairing.

A treehouse is a platform or building built into a tree. They are built around a tree and usually above ground level. Therefore, they might have an internet connection problems and issues of insects. In addition, if there is a bush fire, it will burn the house easily. However, you can feel connection with nature.

Bell tent has been the most traditional type of glamping tents and they are circular shape. They feature one central pole and are made of a heavy-duty cotton canvas fabric. Their strengths are waterproof, inexpensive and easy to set up. They also have a variety of colours and designs. However, you can’t enjoy a view from the tent because they don’t have windows. The ventilation is limited. In addition, there are no separate living spaces, which means it isn’t suitable for people who want their own rooms or privacy. Yurts are rounded tents, which is quite similar to bell tents. But they are held up by several beams. The extra support by beams makes Yurts stronger. You can also feel more spacious. However, the ceiling flap isn’t strong enough to withstand heavy rain. In addition, there are some spaces between walls and floors, so it will allow animals or insets to come in and they would annoy you. It could be very hot during summer because the ventilation isn’t good. The installation is a little complicated. Also, wooden frames can be easily broken.

Bubble tents are unique and inflatable. They are made of a thick plastic or PVC materials. Like a balloon, bubble tents hold air inside the tent and maintain their shape during your camping or glamping trips. In short, they need constant supply of air. Because of this shape, you would think this type of tent looks more spacious. They also have a variety of designs from an igloo type to a half transparent type.

There are some weak points. First, it is hot in summer because their insulation is good. Second, it is noisy due to the need for the blower to be running.
